Nov, 1935

Company founded in Minato-ku,Osaka under the private ownership of Noboru Takenaka

Jan, 1942

Designated to a Navy-supervised factory exclusively manufacturing bolts, nuts, and rivets for warships and nuts and bolts for Navy oil refinery facilities .

Aug, 1952

Saiwaicho Factory established in Naniwa-ku Osaka, where mass production of alloy and special steel products started

May, 1956

Okajima Factory newly established in Taisho-ku, Osaka

Apr, 1960

Fuse Factory( currently called Higashi Osaka Factory)completed to replace Saiwaicho Factory and full-capacity operation started

Feb, 1968

Tokyo Office opened.

Jun, 1970

Awarded by the Minister of International Trade and Industry for the contributions to exportation

May, 1984

Patent granted on "Resin-Coated Nuts and Bolts" (JP 1206194.)

Oct, 1985

Ceramic resin-coated nuts and bolts developed, and their manufacture and sales started

Dec, 1985

A new Headquarters Building completed in the Higashi Osaka Factory site

Qualified to display the JIS code JIS B 1181 for hexagon nut

1971

Control activities started by introducing TQC

1972

Awarded by the Osaka Prefectural Government for excellence in quality control promotion
A quality assurance system established for nuts and bolts for nuclear power plants, and their full-scale production started

1974

Qualified to display the JIS code JIS B 1186 for friction bonding-type set of high-strength hexagon head bolt and nut

1975

A QA manual for nuclear pressure vessels established

1980

Licensed to manufacture nuts and bolts for pressure vessels by the Technical Inspection Organization, Germany(TÜV)

1982

A QA manual established for nuts and bolts for nuclear power plants conforming to the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) standard.

1983

ASME QSC (Quality System Certificate) obtained for nuts and bolts for nuclear power plants

1990

TAKECOAT®-1000 issued with the certificate of Civil Engineering Materials Technology Examination by Public Works Research Center, the Ministry of Construction, Japan

1993

TAKECOAT®-1000 approved as fluorocarbon resin coated nuts and bolts by the Osaka City Water Works Bureau

1995

The Division of Bolts and Corrosion Engineering qualified with ISO9002 (currently coded as IS09001)

1998

Certified as manufacturer of stainless steel high strength bolts by Stainless Steel Building Association of Japan(SSBA). *SSBA was merged with JSSC(Japanese Society of Steel Construction)in 2010 .

The Division of Electronic Equipments qualified with ISO9001

2005

The Division of Electronic Equipments qualified with ISO14001

2007

Certified as manufacturer of stainless steel bolts for construction by Stainless Steel Building Association of Japan(SSBA)

2008

Qualified to display the new JIS codes JIS B 1180 for hexagon head bolt, JIS B 1181 for hexagon nut, JIS B 1186 for friction bonding type set of high strength hexagon head bolt and nut and flat washer
Approval by MLITT obtained for high strength hexagon bolt set (THB) for a wind power facility-supporting structure ; MLITT for the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism, Japan

2010

ASME QSC(Quality System Certificate)obtained again for nuts and bolts for nuclear power plants

2012

Approval by MLITT obtained for hot-dip-galvanized set of high strength hexagon bolt, nut, and flat washer (THBZ) for a wind power facility-supporting structure (with the scope of approval expanded in 2014)

2014

Approval by MLITT obtained for TAKECOAT®-1000 coated set of high strength hexagon bolt, nut, and flat washer(THBF)
